First Meeting
It's time to discuss our White Woman and her Green Bicycle and move on. I have had a request to meet somewhere that does cake and coffee as well as beer, so how about Common? Still Sunday afternoon, about 2.30pm ish. Does this work? How are people set for a weeks time, is that the 26th? Please say yes (go on make a comment).

Well then, we seem to have 2 options (assuming one wants Rob involved): Do we re-schedule, or simply shift our little scholastic event forward an hour or 2 in order to allow the barbarians (not the bring-your-own-socks variety) go find a tv somewhere?

She can get a couple of free tickets for anyone interested (first come first served), I'm going too. ReplyDeleteThis blogging thing is a new world for me so I hope this works! I'm afraid you'll have to count me out of the first meeting. I have to get my dissertation finished by 26th and I'm sure you won't be surprised to hear that things aren't exactly on track! If a miracle occurs in the meantime (i.e. this thing finally writes itself) I'll let you know.

Hey guys and girls....I'm very sorry about this but I now won't be around at all this weekend. If you want to meet without me please feel free otherwise the next weekend I'm available to meet up will be when I get back from holiday on Sunday 11th March. If you do decide to meet up and are struggling for things to talk about (hardly likely), then please feel free to use this as a starting pointing for a discussion: I didn't enjoy the book really as it just made me horribly depressed.....but i do like bikes.....and i'm very partial to the colour green....hmmmmm interesting! Discuss.

Well I guess everyone isn't going to make every book, and we have to start somewhere, so lets go ahead with this weekend, does 4pm suit? I'll be there. (I thought it was depressing too, maybe someone can convince me otherwise?)
